Family Time

Jareth and Grandma Van playing games.
One of my favorite things to do is to spend time with my families. I have an aging Grandmother, distant sisters, and lots of wonderful nephews and nieces. It is cool to see everyone’s talents come out at some point in time.

Jeshua # 9, and his team.
Wether it’s sports, around the table, or individual artistry, these times are set in my memory forever. I spent some time recently at the parents house, as well as a couple school activities for my nephews.

Jeshua (Jeshua Becham?)
Each time spent being a gift from God and a joy to be around them. Here are some of my recent memories.

The Victors!
A great game to tell the kids of when I’m older, even maybe my grandkids. This is what sports is all about. Rooting for the favorite since childhood, against their bitter rivals indeed. This brings out the worst and best of people at times. However, if loss is inevitable, joys turn into sorrows. Your first “big” game rooting your “favorite” team, what was it like? Recently I had an opportunity to go to a Michigan vs Notre Dame football game at the “BIG HOUSE”. This was my first NCAA football game, my favorite college team, and my least favorite also. University of Michigan, a childhood full of memories, they could not disappoint. And, that they did not. A great game, one of the best of all times for this rivalry, was mine for the viewing.

A TD return in the first half, comin' straight at us!
38 – 34 Maze-n-Blue. Hail, Hail to Michigan the victors of the world. What are some of your best sports memories of games you attended in person? Perhaps a father son outing, many of those are favorites of mine (Detroit Tigers). And, how would you rate this great game in the history of Michigan / Notre Dame rivalries?
